• Yellow diamond daisy ring

Yellow diamond daisy ring. Bespoke ring in platinum, set with 1.08ct brilliant cut canary yellow diamond, VS1. Surrounded by 1.25ct of fine white, pear shaped diamonds, which form the daisy petals.
This ring was commissioned by a Nashville musician. His TV presenter girlfriend had spotted our ring design on the internet and had expressed how much she liked it! The gentleman contacted us and we exchanged a few e-mails and Skype conversations, to reach a solution to the specifications that he wanted. The American couple were planning to come to England, to visit an elderly relative. Our customer planned to propose to his girlfriend, in her Grandmother’s garden, during their stay! All went to plan and the sun was shining when he walked her out into the garden to ask her! She said “Yes” of course!
I am sure that I will be hearing from them again, for a suitable wedding ring design to compliment the yellow diamond daisy engagement ring.
    Congratulations to them both!

We had made variations of this style of ring before. Once with a cabochon cut moonstone and another with all white diamonds. Whilst we have illustrated this design with coloured, facetted diamond centres; we had never actually made one for real! We had simply altered our CGI of the white diamond version. So, this ring is the only one of its kind in existence. The advantage of using a diamond for the centre, is, not only does it sparkle with more fire than any other gem would. But a diamond is the hardest of all of the gemstones and it therefore won’t scratch or graze over the years. With it being set in a low rub over setting, the stones are further protected, to endure a lifetime’s wear.
