Our Process
If you’re interested in commissioning a piece of unique jewellery, here are the stages that an inquiry usually takes:
Send us an email
E-mail us, via our contact form, outlining what you’re after It’s useful for us to know when your jewellery is needed for and what sort of budget you have in mind. We will get back to you, in most cases, on the same day. Don’t forget your contact details and a time when it would be convenient to contact you, if you’d like us to call you.
Speak to us by phone
Speaking to you enables us to quickly establish your exact needs. Based on this and your e-mail, we usually e-mail you initial pencil sketches, to determine if we’re on the right lines. The sketch will include an estimate and time lines for your commission. We charge £250 for this, which is deducted from the final price of the item. The sketches remain the copyright of Sherry jewellery, you still get a unique one-off. At this point it’s possible to book a Skype consultation.
Confirm the design
Once we know what you want, we will further illustrate your commission. You will receive photo-real illustrations, for you approval, (like the ones you see on this page.) We ask for a 50% deposit. We accept all types of card payment.
Commissions usually take about four to five weeks. We will contact you via e-mail or phone when your jewellery is completed. Once your final balance is paid, your commission will be dispatched to you by insured, registered post.
