Tanzanite re-model

This was a design project for a loose cushion cut tanzanite.
The client, who is a renowned botanical artist, wanted a classic ring, with some proportionate diamonds to compliment the indigo blue of the main stone.
We produced a number of designs, in conjunction with presenting loose diamonds for her to choose from.
She loved the idea of combining the soft cushion shape tanzanite, with angular trillian cut diamonds.
We offered the ring design in a range of metal alloys; giving her the choice of a range of prices. But we always advise on suitability, as different metals have different wear characteristics.
The finished ring was made in platinum.
The commission took about 5 weeks to complete.
