Art Deco diamond rings. Baguette diamonds with fancy cut central stone forming an engagement and wedding ring set
Ring remodel of a fancy-cut diamond made into an Art Deco diamond ring set.
This commission was to remodel an existing wedding ring and engagement ring, which had a claw-set, half carat, fancy cut diamond.
The lady wanted two Art Deco style rings, with a 1930’s character, using her original gold and single stone.
We produced extensive ideas. Firstly, focussing on the engagement ring design. Then continuing with wedding ring suggestions, once she’d chosen the engagement ring.
We developed ideas with arrangements of linear and fan shapes; drawing inspiration from Art Deco panels and lighting. Introducing fine, white baguette diamonds, stepped down the sides of the pear shape. With a fantail of tapered baguettes, below in the wedding ring. These Art Deco diamond rings are unique and protected under copyright.
We used 18ct yellow and white gold in combination, consistent with the original rings.
