This was a special commission for a returning customer. She wanted a top quality ring, which was spectacular without being over-bling.
These extraordinary emerald cut diamonds were a set of three matching stones. E colour and magnificently clean.
Emerald shapes are a very unforgiving cut, in so much as, the clarity of the stone is completely visible, through the linear layout of the facets. Any tiny blemish or inclusion is seen, so in general, emerald cut diamonds are only faceted from the top grades in clarity of stones.
This emerald cut diamond trilogy ring was a bespoke commission. It was created in platinum, with 4 claws holding each stone. The emerald cut diamonds were set end to end, to create a half eternity ring. The shoulders and shank of the ring, continue in the same width, which produces a very neat effect. This also allows the ring to be worn next to other rings on the same finger (if desired.)
With most of our commissions; the design and modelling is created around the stones that have been chosen. ie. The stones come first: We find this the best method. Coming up with the model first and trying to source appropriate gems second, can be a long and exhaustive process.
