Tanzanite and pink sapphire ring: A statement ring in platinum
This was a design project that was based around this jelly-like cabochon cut tanzanite.
We wanted to produce something striking and unusual, bringing vibrant colours together in this flamboyant ring.
It is set with a combination of a cabochon cut tanzanite & facetted pink sapphires.
The customer firstly chose the tanzanite, then we produced a series of water colour design suggestions, to further develop on the vivid and daring colour combinations. The pink sapphires were presented to the client, along with an array of other gemstones.
The images catalogue the development from water-colour suggestions, loose gems, CGI, partially completed ring, to finally show the finished piece.
